Mithali Pathak Brought laurel to Shiksha Niketan Hr. Sec. School   

The Students of Shiksha Niketan Hr. Sec School, Jeevan Nagar Participated in the Painting Competition on World Red Cross Day on 8th may 2023 organised by Indian Red Cross Society in which the theme of the competition was “My Heart”. Mithali Pathak of Class 11th got Gold Medal and Anamika Manhas of Class 11th got Consolation Prize and brought laurel to the School. No. of Schools, approx. 25 (Private & Govt.) had participated in the Competition. The competition was very tough but the students worked very hard and got the position. The Principal of the Institute Sh. Rameshwar Mengi, Incharge Hr. Sec. Sudesh Rana and Sanjeev Goswami congratulated the students and boosted their morale for the future competitions.

It is a matter of pride to mention here that it is the first time in the history of any Educational or Social Function of a state that (07) Padma Awardees and a series of other celebrities are attending this function.

They paid their “Heartfelt Tribute” to Late Sh. Dev Dutt Mengi Ji – the Founder Principal  of  Shiksha Niketan, and Late Jenab Ghulam Rasool Azad – the Honourable Director School Education .

The Programme commenced with the singing of the National Anthem immediately after the arrival of the guests.

All the guests were given “Rousing Reception” on their arrival, and were presented Bouquets by the Principal, Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji along with other Incharges of the School.

The Function commenced with the lighting of the Ceremonial Lamp by the Chief Guest (Janab Azad Sahib), and the Presiding Guest (Sh. ID. Soni Ji), Guests of Honour and the Principal of the School, Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji along with Mr. Rakshan Mengi Ji (Director, RMPS) and (Mr. Risheek Mengi Ji – Director, Pushp Vatika, Jeevan Nagar.

The School Annual Report was presented by Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji, the Worthy Principal of the School.

A pious “Dev Vandana” was presented by the students of Middle Wing of the School, that gave an “Auspicious Start” to the entire programme that was to be followed.

An Enthralling Welcome Dance was presented by the Students of Primary Wing.

A Skit in the form of One Act Play on the Theme of “Nasha Mukt Bharat & Sanskaar” was performed by the students of High Wing.

There after the Students of Sr. Secondary Wing displayed a “Power Packed Performance” where a variety of Entertainment brought out the essence of the “Cultural Fusion and Royal Heritage”.  The performance of a Skit- “Bharat Ki Beti” deserves a special mention in this regard.

The Spectators became fully “Mesmerized” at the artistic performance of the students. All the performances were simply scintillating, and were highly appreciated by the distinguished gathering of the Dignitaries and Students’ Parents present there. The gathering applauded the efforts made by the School in all such Extra Co-Curricular performances as they witnessed the participating Students displaying their talents in different aspects on the stage. The Parents were really spell-bound when they saw their wards performing so excellently in front of them.

Hon’ble Chief Guest – Jenab Ghulam Nabi Azad Sahib gave a “Long but Impressive” Speech highlighting the Social & Educational” contributions of the Founder Principal – Late. Sh. Dev Dutt Mengi Ji . His worthyself was full of appreciations for the School Management & the Administrative Staff including Teachers/ Lecturers for giving Proper Direction to the Students with regard to the Academics and other Extra Co-curricular spheres to ensure their Allround Personality Development to grow as enlightened, responsible and progressive citizens of this Global Society of Modern Era.

The Presiding Guest- Sh. I.D. Soni Ji, too, praised the combined efforts of the School Management-cum-Administration in bold words. His worthyself impressed upon all the Staff Members especially the Teachers & Lecturers to work “Unitedly & Tirelessly” to raise the Honour & Prestige of this noble profession of theirs as Nation Builder/s.

An “Auspicious Inauguration” of the release of the News Letters – “Bagisha” was also made by:

Shiksha Niketan has the Tradition to give Prizes and Awards to its Meritorious Students for their unique Performance both in “Academics & Extra Co-curricular” activities. The Students who obtain First three Positions are awarded the Felicitation Cheques for Rs. 15,000/- each, and the Students who score from 4th to 20th Positions in the Board Examination of class 10th and 12th are awarded the Prize Cheques for Rs. 5000/- each.  These Prizes are only Token of Love to “Appreciate & Encourage” the Students to Stud their Careers with stars.

  •   SHIKSHA NIKETAN CELEBRATES LORD KRISHNA JANAMASHTMI

    To enhance the significance of celebrating important days, a function was organized to mark the birthday of Lord Krishna i.e. Janamashtami on August 18, 2022 at Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary school, Jeevan Nagar Jammu. The celebration comprised of mirthful performances by the students & staff members of middle wing including dances, enactments, bhajan recitation etc. Speeches on the life of Lord Krishna and his teachings for the mankind marked the informative phase of the celebration. The most pleasing moments were the enactment of the students showing the various incidents related with the birth of Lord Krishna.

    The Main Guest of the event was Aacharya Piyush ji Maharaj . He inspired us to establish a society that is just, sensitive and compassionate. His message of Karmayoga was a call to focus on our responsibilities rather than caring for rewards However, it was the “Dahi Handi” performance which was undoubtedly the most eagerly awaited moment where students formed a human pyramid to break the earthen pot, laden with curd- a ritual performed on the occasion of Janmashtami. At that movement there were roars of loud cheering from all the students and the staff alike.

    The Director of PushpVatika, Mr Risheek Mengi & the Director of RMPS, Mr Rakshan Mengi both appreciated the efforts of the students who presented a beautiful “Jhanki” of the birth of Lord Krishna .

    The Principal of the school Sh. Rameshwar Mengi ji, congratulated all the Shikshaniketains for their exhilarating performance, and spoke at length about the Karma Theory and its true meaning. He added that we can’t have child Krishna with ‘divine powers’ today but we can transform each child into a worthy citizen with ‘acquired powers’. He greatly cherished the efforts put in by the teachers and as well as the gleeful presentation by the students. On the whole it was a day full of enjoyment and information.


    The programme ended with the National Anthem.

  • Result Celebration of Class 10th in Shiksha Niketan School, Jammu .

     

    14 July 2022: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School , Jeevan Nagar, celebrated the result of class 10th ,  which was declared today at 1:20 P.M. The result displayed the tremendous success of the school where the total number of students who appeared for the exam were 274 with 12 Students scoring more than 98% .

    The overall result is 100% which again is the greatest accomplishment or milestone for the Shiksha Niketan family.

    The Toppers along with their respected parents were honoured by worthy Principal Sir Mr. Rameshwar Mengi Ji, the management, the incharges and the staff members.

    The media was present in the premises for the interview of all the shining stars, concerning their experience of being the students of Shiksha Niketan School. The reporters also tried to know their inspiring stories for this great success along with great motivational message for the newcomers.

  • Result Celebration of Class 12th in Shiksha Niketan School
    Jammu,30 June 2022: ShikshaNiketan Senior Secondary School ,Jeevan Nagar, celebrated the result of class 12th which declared today at 4:00 p.m. The result displayed the tremendous success of the school where the total number of students who appeared for the exam were713. Total ‘28’ positions where the science stream got the 1st position and the 3rd,4th ,5th,6th,7th and 10th positions were also engulfed by the science stream.The commerce stream got the 4th ,5th,6th,7th and 10th positions. Also the arts  stream claimed the 2nd,3rd,7th and 8th positions. The total number of distinctions are ‘517’ and ‘130’ first divisions. The overall result is 98.17% which again is the greatest accomplishment or milestone for the ShikshaNiketan family.The position holders alongwith their respected parents were honoured by worthy Principal sir,Mr. RameshwarMengiji ,the management, the incharges and the staff members.The media was there for the interview of all the shining stars, concerning the experience of being the students of ShikshaNiketan School.   • 2ND CLASS TODDLERS ACCORDED HAPPY WELCOME

As per the precedence, Class 4th Students of Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu arranged welcome party for the students of Class 2nd for the New Session (2022-23). The party started with the “Attachment of Badges” and the “Bouquet Ceremony”. After this, the function proceeded with the “Lighting of the Ceremonial Lamp”. The Students of Class 4th welcomed the little champs of Class 2nd with the “Saraswati Vandhana” as well as the “Welcome Dance”. The welcome party started with the distribution of refreshment to all the students. It was a happy “Get Together” for the Class 2nd  new comers to Shiksha Niketan from Pushp Vatika . The Principal of the School Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji, shared the “Happy Moments” with the small children of both the Class and conveyed his “Good Wishes” to all of them, especially the new comer.

Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School Jeevan Nagar celebrated its 30th foundation day on 19th Feb, 2022. The day was celebrated for the whole week i.e, from 14th Feb and ended on 19th Feb, 2022 with great pomp and show. The chief guests were the ex-teachers of the school. Smt. Meenakshi Gupta and Sh. P.K Dhar (Ex Principal RM College). They thanked the management for the invitation and shared their experience in the school. The students were very excited to perform as after a very  long time they participated physically in a cultural activity in the school premises.

The Principal Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji talked about the founder principal Sh. Dev Dutt Mengi Ji who was the epitome of grit, integrity and the person of colossal stature. At the end Sh. PRESS RELEASE REGARDING REPUBLIC DAY
Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan – Nagar celebrated 73rd Republic Day with patriotic fervour. This function was organised under the supervision of Headmaster and all the incharges of the school. All the teachers and non- teaching employees were present on the occasion. The flag hoisting ceremony was
organized in the school ground. Principal of the School, Mr Rameshwar Mengi alongwith the Director of RMPS, Mr Rakshan Mengi and Director of Pushp Vatika, Mr Risheek Mengi hoisted the National Flag in the presence of all the teaching and non-teaching

OCCASION-GANDHI JAYANTI

Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School organized Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti. The invited guests on the occasion were Miss. Pooja Malhotra (Chairperson Taanish Education Trust), Brig. Harcharan Singh (National Administrator NCCHWO) and Mr. Brijesh Babu (North India Director). On this occasion, students from class 9th to 12th participated in various activities like Poster Making, Poem Recitation & Speech. The Aim of this Program was to make aware about the sacrifices & struggle made by Mahatma Gandhi. Further, the Civil Defense Personalities taught various techniques to the girls how to protect themselves and how to remain fit and healthy, by performing various exercises. At the end, Principal of the school Sh. Rameshwar Mengi JI thanks all the teachers & other dignitaries present over the occasion.  

PRESS  RELEASE ON GANESH CHATURTHI

Shiksha Niketan senior secondary school Jeevan Nagar organise a Ganesh puja at the beginning the eve of Ganesh chaturthi. Keeping in mind of covid-19 all Sop’s was followed in the school premises. Ganesh puja  was celebrated with full fervor and great enthusiasm by the teachers .
This program is organised under the supervision of Headmaster of the school Mr.Harish Sharma along with all the incharges.
Programme to sensitise about the importance of inculcating moral values by performing havan, chanting Vedic mantras, and singing bhajans. Due to ongoing pandemic, limited staff members participated in it. The building was decorated in a very wonderful way with handmade art and craft materials and natural things like flowers and rangoli. The school was well decorated for the celebration. Aarti and bhajans were recited and songs related to this Ganesh chaturthi  day were played. On the auspicious day of ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’, the faculty members of the School came together to seek the blessings of God of new beginning and success. The event was celebrated with a lot of devotion and dedication by worshiping Lord Ganesha. The ritual was graced with the presence of all the  staff and faculty.
 Principal of the school Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji concluded the program by a short speech and also gave best wishes to  all the teachings and non-teaching staff on this auspicious day.

PRESS RELEASE OF  TEACHERS’ DAY

Shiksha Niketan celebrated Teachers’ Day on 05th September at Jeevan Nagar Jammu. The school paid the Tribute to the colossal and reversed Dr. Radha Krishan. On this occasion, Ms. Vandhana Gupta (KAS) & Dr. Ramandeep Singh (MBBS, MD) were Chief Guests. Both the chief guests had shed the light on the outstanding contribution made by the Teaching Fraternity. They had recognised the challenges Pedagogy had to go through in the wake of spread of COVID- 19 & subsequent Lockdowns. They appreciated and recognised that it was teachers who did not let the COVID-19 to impede the nation-building to nurture the Young Talents by imparting unimpeded flow of education to the students.
 On this occasion, keeping in view the instruction and various SOPs floated by Government, various cultural activities were performed by the teachers in lieu of the students. During the function, respected Principal of the school highlighted the back-breaking efforts of all the teachers & staff of the school.
 He commemorated all the teaching staff present there and told that his teachers were resilient enough that no challenge could stir their morale to thwart them from imparting quality education. He further stated that management of the school had left no stone unturned to reach their students and helped them to sail through the challenges posted by the deadliest COVID-19 Virus. The function was culminated by felicitating all the teachers and menial staff by worthy chief guests presented in the occasion.
 
PRESS RELEASE OF INDEPENDENCE DAY FUNCTION
Shiksha Niketan Sr.Sec School Jeevan Nagar celebrated 75th INDEPENDENCE DAY on 15th August, 2021 in the school premises .The patriotic fervour  warmed up the  morning as the teachers and the other non teaching staff of the school  gathered enthusiastically at 7.45 AM.School was following all  SOPs during covid -19.

This function was organised under the supervision of Headmaster of the school Sh. HARISH SHARMA and all the incharges of every wing .

Discipline and distance was maintained by each and every staff member in this Covid-19.Building was decorated with beautiful buntings, portraits of freedom fighters and national flags. Principal  Sh. Rameshwar Mengi ji hoisted the national flag with the main guest of program Sh.Dinesh singh Sambyal (Deputy commissioner of BSF) and all the incharges of the school .Sh.Dinesh singh sambyal delivered a motivational speech which had a great impact on all the audience.He shared beautiful and motivational episodes of his life.

Principal of school Sh.Rameshwar Mengi ji also gave a speech on the eve of independence day. He urged  every teacher to work with honesty and dedication for the nation and not to be misled leading to unnecessary violence.

This was followed by some cultural activities. Patriotic group song sung by  teachers . There was also a well knit skit on the patriotic theme . Patriotic performances added colours to the celebration .The function was concluded with the recitation of National Anthem. Overall the teachers enjoyed along with feeling of patriotic towards India.

Organisation   organised a  ‘Medical Camp’ in the premises of Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu on 25th Feb; 2021 .Gandhi Global Family and ISM comprises of an Expert Team  of Doctors/ Medical  Specialists –  Dr. S.P. Verma ( Padam Shri  awarded) , Dr. Nidhi Sharma ( M.O), Dr. Garima Sharma (M.O) , Mr. Nishant Khajuria, Mr. Jaswinder Singh Kuku, Dr. Tarun Singh , Washir Ahmed Sheik , Mr. Gulzabir Daing & Mr. Manish Joshi (Principal of Lawrence Public School)   aiming at the fulfilment of the Noble Mission of “ AYUSH HEALTHY BHARAT” as envisaged by Shri Narinder Modi Ji, the  Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.

 Gandhi Global Family aims at setting up 300 + Medical Camps in Jammu Region . In the light of it the ‘Camp Number -250’ was set up in Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar . The motive of the camp was to improve the immune  system of the Society by providing “ Immunity Boosters and Ayurvedic Medicines” to all the students, Teachers, Lecturers and other members. 

The  Principal  of the School, Sh. Rameshwar  Mengi Ji along with all the  Senior  Staff Members welcomed all the Distinguished Guests  ( Doctors / Medical Experts) by presenting them the ‘ Bouquets’ of Flowers & Trophies as a Token  of Love   and respect. The camp not only increased the immunity but also provided a boost to remain positive in these difficult times. The doctors advised all to remain healthy & physically fit . Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar Jammu conducted an INTER CLASS COMPETITION on the topic “NATIONAL INTEGRATION” on 31stof October, 2020 for 10th class students in which students made a video of two minutes.

The Competition was organised under the supervision of Sh. HARISH SHARMA, High Wing Incharge and Mrs. Veena Gupta Coordinator of class 10th.

All the form teachers of class 10thwere involved in the activity, who selected first three positions.

The First Position was bagged by Sneha Oberoi of class 10th ‘I’ ,Second Position was won by Sneha of class 10th ‘D’ and Third position Clinched by Priya Saini of class 10th ‘I’

Incharge of High Wing Sh. Harish Sharma congratulated all the winners, and give them encouragement for future activities.

Principal Sh. RAMESHWAR MENGI appreciated the efforts of theFaculty Members and congratulated all the participants of class 10th for their active participation to make this “Academic Session” a success during this tough time of COVID-19.

To  Commemorate its meritorious service in the field of ” Education and  splendiferous Performance”  in the  co –  curricular activities, Shiksha Niketan  Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar – Jammu    Celebrated its “29th  Foundation Day – Cum –  Prize   Distribution Function” in its premises on 20th  feb ., 2021

 Ms Radhika Sohan (BDO), Ms. Megha (C.A) & Ms Suruchi Mahajan ( Bank PO) were the  ” Special Guests”. And Sh. I.D Soni ( Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides),  S.Sehaj  Singh ( Senior member Bharat Scouts  and Guides) and S. Jeet Singh ( Sports Teacher of the School) were the “Guests of Honour “of  the occasion . Prominent  among Other Guests present on the Occasion were Ms. Neeru Puri  Principal of  S D Tara Puri Public  High School, Mr. Vivek Chauhan   Principal of oriental Academy, Sh Shiv Rattan Pandotra  Principal of Shiva Public High School , Mr Gagandeep Patwari , Mrs Rita Mengi trustee of RM Public  School , Ms Ravinder Kour Principal  of RM   Public School,  Mrs kiran Gupta  Incharge of Shiksha Niketan ,  Gandhi Nagar , Jammu. The  Principal  of the School, Sh. Rameshwar Mengi  and Director of the School Mr. Rakshan Mengi along with all  the Incharges of the School  received all the guest with honour, and welcomed them by presenting token of love. Parents of meritorious students were also present on the occasion.

  The Programme started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. . A “Welcome Dance” was presented by the students of class 3rd of Primary wing and the “Vandana” was performed by the students of class 4th of Primary wing.  It enthralled the audience present over there.

 Then, there was colourful performance by the students of Middle- Wing. They performed a cultural show in which they represented the “Dance style” of Dogri, Punjabi, Ladakhi and Kashmiri. Thereafter, the students of High – Wing performed the classical “Bharat Natyam and Gidda”. All the cultural items were performed on the theme of “Unity in Diversity” i.e., oneness. The Guests appreciated the efforts of the students and the school management in bringing the institute to the present level of brillance, glory and uniqueness. The special Guest gave away the prizes to the meritorious students who had excelled in academics and various competitions held at School, District and National level. The “Prize Distribution” occurred in the form of 1) Cheque, 2) Trophies, 3) Medals and 4) Certificates. All the special Guests in their respective speeches expressed appreciations for the laudable efforts of the Principal and his School  team for  making the School  J& K’s No. 1 School .They expressed their happiness to see that Shiksha Niketan Jammu  motivates its students  by felicitating them with prizes and cheques as this serves  as an impetus to their stellar up performance consistently  . They also urged the  students to exhibit their talents and potentials   not only  to  carve a  niche for themselves  and bringing laurels to school , but also to aiming at bringing  glory to their State as well as  to the  nation as a whole.

 In his welcome address, the Worthy Principal, Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji, gave a brief description about the students who excelled in different fields. The students presenting various cultural items were highly applauded by the audience.

 A total    amount  of  Rupees One Lakh and Forty Thousand (Rs. 1,40,000 ) only were distributed among the meritorious students of class 8th , 10th and 12th session 2019-20, who  outshines in academics

The Vote of thanks was presented by Mr. Harish Sharma the Main Incharge of the School. The programme culminated with the National Anthem.

 

PRESS RELEASE FOR THE DUSSEHRA  CELEBRATIONS

Shiksha Niketan Senior secondary school, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu organised the “Dussehra celebrations” with great zeal and enthusiasm on 26th october, 2020. On this day, the school was decorated with colourful handmade buntings. This festival is familiar among the people as Vijayadashami and is celebrated at the end of the Navaratras every year. It is observed on the tenth day according to the Hindu Calender in the month of Ashvin or Kartik. Dussehra symbolizes the triumph of the “Good over the evil”. The main motive of the “Dussehra Celebrations” is to promote  goodwill , peace and harmony in the society and also to remind ourselves of our rich cultural heritage. On the eve of the “Dussehra Celebrations”, Sh. Rameshwar Mengi, the worthy Principal of the school addressed the staff members especially the “Teaching Faculty” to inculcate and inspire the feeling of “Love and Respect” for our “Rich and Glorious” cultural values and traditions among the students for their “Mental Growth and Moral Awakening” to enable them (students) to grow into responsible, truthful, enlightened and progressive would be citizens of this modern global society. His worthyself also prayed for the “End” of the prevalent  Covid -19 pandemic.

 

 

PRESS RELEASE ON “PUPPET – MAKING ACTIVITY”

Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School Jeevan Nagar conducted an “Online Inter- School “Puppet- Making Activity” for the students of 5th on the eve of Dussehra on 23rd of October,2020 from 12:00’ Clock to 1:00PM. Through this activity, the students showed their inherent talent and creativity . The Students participated in this activity with great enthusiasm, and showed their “Excellent Creativity” by making different  kinds of Puppets of Ravan-a legendry Villian. The winners among the participants in this activity were 3 students.

1st – Parth Gupta from Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School, Jeevan Nagar.

2nd –Shivani Saini from SHIKSHA NIKETAN HIGH Gandhi Nagar.

3rd – Yohika from R.M. Public School, Chowadhi.

This activity was judged by Mrs. Suman Gupta, the Art and Craft Teacher in Tiger Army Pre-Primary School, Kaluchak. The main purpose of this activity was to aware the students that the celebration of “Dussehra” Symbolises the victory of the “Good Deeds” on the Evil ones” so this activity served a healthy message among the Students and the society at large.

This “Puppet – Making” activity was greatly appreciated by all. Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji, the worthy Principal of the School  is always of the opinion that such like activities/Programmes must be organised in the school to familiarise the students about the “Cultural and Traditions” of the Indian nation. His worthyself appreciated the efforts of the participating students in this behalf as their practical knowledge proves out to be an asset to make them enlightened responsible and awakened would be citizens of the global society of modern era as well as to inspire the modern generation to be proud and respectful to our “Glorious Historical Values”.

PRESS RELEASE REGARDING ONLINE VIDEO MESSAGES ON COVID-19

Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School, Jeevan Nagar-Jammu conducted an “Online Activity” which was based on video messages regarding Covid-19 on Thursday the 19th October, 2020. The purpose of this short message was to provide clear and purposeful guidance for safe operations regarding the prevention, early detective and control of Covid-19 Pandemic.

There were Two hundred eighteen (218) students of 6th class, who participated under the supervision of their concerned Teachers and Co-coordinator.

Mainly, Students focused on good health behavior, such as covering coughs and sneezes with the elbow and washed hands and also introduced the concept of “Social Distancing”.  The students from all the sections performed it in a very energetic manner. Out of every section, two students’ videos were selected, which formed the best short “Video Messages” for society. Out of 218 participating students, the videos of students shortlisted by the coordinator and the Middle Wing Incharge were as under-

  • Vrinda Jain and Ashmit Singh of class 6th I;
  • Diya Behal and Palak Singh Parihar of class 6th E;
  • Shivangi of class 6th B; and
  • Shinepreet Kour of class 6th

In this way the whole process aimed at empowering the students to be Critical, Creative, Innovative and Enlightened citizens of the modern global era.

   All this programme was initiated under the sage instructions and guidelines of the worthy Principal of the School, Shri Rameshwar Mengi Ji who is always so keen for such like events to be organized to aware the students to play their proper role as “Beacon-Light”  for the common masses during in these hard days of Covid-19 pandemic.

His worthyself praised the efforts of the students, and impressed upon all the participants to do their best as the children can educate the masses in the best possible way.

PRESS RELEASE ON THE CELEBRATION OF FIRST NAVRATRAS

Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar Jammu organized a religious “Havan” Ceremony in the School premises on the occasion of the commencement of Navratra. Inspite of the troubling time of Covid -19 the rituals of Havan were performed in the marvellous way keeping in view precaution regarding         Covid -19 .

It was attended by Sh.  Rameshwar Mengi  the Principal of the School  and joined by the Trustee of the RMPS Ms. Rita Mengi ,Director Mr. Rakshan Mengi , Ms. Arti Rajput Incharge of Middle Wing from RMPS, Ms. Kiran Gupta Incharge of  Shiksha Niketan Gandhi Nagar  , Ms. Sushma Sharma incharge of Pushp Vatika and other faculty members of the School were  also present on the Occasion.

“Kanya Puja”is also performed  on this auspicious  Occasion . Havan was followed by Prasad Distribution among all the Staff Members present over there at the end.

At last Sh. Rameshwar Mengi ji congratulated all and give his best wishes on the occasion of Navratras.
