Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu, celebrated Bal Mela 2025 with remarkable splendour on 14th November, aligning with the national celebration of Children’s Day, observed on the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister. Pandit Nehru’s affection for children and his belief in nurturing young minds for the future of the nation remains a guiding light for schools across India. In keeping with this vision, the school organised a grand and vibrant Bal Mela, offering students an opportunity to experience learning through fun, creativity, and active participation.
