MAHA SHIVRATRI CELEBRATED IN SHIKSHA NIKETAN JEEVAN NAGAR SCHOOL

MAHA SHIVRATRI IS NOT JUST A FESTIVAL, IT IS A MESSAGE TO CONTROL ANGER AND CHOOSE PEACE

The students and staff of PRIMARY WING celebrated the holy festival of  Maha Shivratri with great devotion and enthusiasm in the school premises under the guidance of Headmaster Mr. Harish Sharma.

The program began with the Shiv Pooja and chanting of  “Om Namah Shivaya.” A special function was arranged in which students presented a prayer dedicated to Lord Shiva. Teachers performed devotional songs and a cultural dance depicting the greatness and teaching of Lord Shiva.

The Guest Sh. Parushotam Lal Dubey, Prant Adhyaksh in Sanskrit Bharti, J&K, Asstt. Joint Organizing Commissioner in J&K Bharti Scouts and Guide, Retired chief officer in No. 1 J & K Navel Unit NCC, Retired Head Master Govt. High School Chairman, and Shri Ram Goudham Nyas Rehal appreciated the efforts of the school in organizing the Maha Shivratri celebration in a meaningful manner. He congratulated the Principal, the staff members and students for their active participation and wished them a bright and successful future.

The Principal MR.RAMESHWAR MENGI addressed the gathering and explained the importance of Maha Shivratri. He encouraged students to follow the values of honesty, discipline, kindness and respect for others in their daily lives.

The school campus was beautifully decorated with flowers, rangoli and religious symbols, creating a spiritual atmosphere. Teachers guided the students about the significance of fasting, meditation and devotion associated with the festival.

At the end of the program, prasad was distributed among the students and staff. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, making the day memorable and meaningful for everyone.
