Shiksha Niketan pays homage to its visionary founder, Late Sh. Dev Dutt Mengi Ji, on his 42nd death anniversary, observed as Shanti Diwas. Born on May 13, 1911, he was a legendary educationist who served as a District Educational Officer and the first Principal of K.V. Gandhi Nagar from 1967- 69.
Late Sh. Shiksha Niketan, since its establishment in 1969, and Shiksha Niketan, Jeevan Nagar in 1993, has been commemorating the Birth Anniversary of its Founder Principal Late Sh. Dev Dutt Mengi Ji. Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar too, celebrated the “114th Birth Anniversary Day” on 13-05-25. On this day, the Preeti Bhoj served to all the Staff Members. School commemorated his 114th birth anniversary on May 13, 2025, and observed his death anniversary with reverence on May 14, 2025.
Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar today. i.e. on 14th May, 2025 paid homage to the founder Principal Late Sh. Dev Dutt Mengi Ji on his 42nd Death Anniversary as Shanti Diwas. Rameshwar Mengi (the Principal of the School), Mr. Rakshan Mengi (the Director of RMPS), Mr. Risheek Mengi (the Director of Shiksha Niketan Gandhi Nagar & Pushp Vatika), Incharges, faculty members and all the staff members were present there to pay the tribute to the great soul. He was a great prolific personality, the retired DEO in Education Department because of his greatness, noble words, he is still remembered by one and all. The Principal of the School, Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji threw light on the importance of the day and told about the great achievements of the founder Principal and encouraged the eveyone to keep in mind his thoughts and to follow his footsteps of success. Everyone present in the school paid homage to the great soul by offering flowers and garlands to the statue of the Founder Principal of the School.
